PostHeaderIcon Too Hot FTU

Too Hot was written by me Punky Butts
Any other similarity is purely coincidental
and was done in psp 9 Any other versions should work
This tutorial was written for those
that have working knowledge of psp

Tools and Supplies Needed

Xero - Radiance - optional
eyecandy gradient glow for name - optional

Font of choice I used Futurist Fixed-width

Scrap Kit of choice I used Neon Punk Collab by ♥ Tamie and Kristin ♥

Template #5 Too Hot By Lori ♥ Fancy Designz

Tube of choice
I used the art by Ismael Rac
you will need to purchase a license to use this art
you must not use the same image in the tutorial
unless you have the appropriate
artist license to do so

♥ Ready Let's Start ♥

Open Psp
Open Template 5 too hot

Shift+D to duplicate the template
close the original template

Highlight the background layer
right click - promote background layer

Image - Canvas size - change to 700x700 pixels
flood fill the background white

Open tube of choice and elements from kit
to use the colors from
to pick colors from for the template

Highlight the too hot layer
with your magic wand tolerance at 10 feather 0
click inside the gray area of every other letter
then go to selections - modify - remove specks and holes
using these settings
Remove specks and holes ticked
Square area smaller then
100 X 1 ok
Keep selected

Go to adjust - color balance - manual color correction
using the settings in screen shot below

for the source click on that and use the color picker to
pick up the gray color - for Target change that to a color
you wish to use from your tube or the elements ok

Go to adjust - add/Remove noise - add noise with these settings
Uniform and Monochrome ticked - Noise 25% ok
then go to adjust - Brightness and contrast - Levels
using the settings in the screen shot below

Selections - select none

do the same steps for the other letters
using another color of choice

Highlight the top left circle
selections - select all - float - defloat
layers - new raster layer - copy and paste into selection
the discoball - selections select none
delete the original circle layer colorize of choice
repeat for the other circle layer

Highlight the frame mats layer
with your magic wand click inside one of the squares
go to manual color correction change the Target to black
position your tube within the square - resize if needed
selections - invert- hit delete on the tube layer
set blend mode to Luminance - repeat with the other squares

Open Ribbon 2 - Highlight the top layer - copy and paste as a new layer
go to adjust - Brightness and contrast
Levels - using the same settings you did above

Open any other elements of choice - resize as needed
and place around your tag - copy and paste your tube as a new layer
apply xero - radiance -default settings
apply drop shadows to your layers as desired

Crop / resize your tag - add your name and credits
for name I used font Futurist Fixed-width
size 45 color of choice
then added a fat white gradient glow and drop shadow

If you want a transparent tag delete the white background
save as png and your done :)
